Democrats are aiming to do something in Tennessee they haven’t done in over 40 years: flip a deep red district Trump won by +22 points in the 2024 presidential election. They’re hope is progressive State Representative Aftyn Behn, who’s running to capture the vacant 7th district seat in the upcoming December 2 special election.
