Reventure believes that the most important shift in government policy towards housing should be to pressure investors to sell, by reducing their tax incentives to own. Data from Zillow shows that home values are now going down in half the U.S. state, but are still near an all-time high, with homebuyer affordability near a record worst (39% mortgage payment/income ratio in 2025).
