Democratic Strategist Malbert Smith believes pardon powers have been “abused” by both parties.
“I’ve been disillusioned with the pardon power of the presidency writ large,” Mr Smith told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“I think we need to talk about serious reforms there because I think it’s being abused by both parties at this point.”
