Speculation is swirling around the hotly anticipated face-to-face meeting between US President Donald Trump and New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.
This follows President Trump’s announcement on Truth Social that he will meet with Zohran Mamdani at the White House on November 21st.
The meeting will come off the back of deep tensions between the pair, after Trump labelled Mamdani a “Communist.”
New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the mayor-elect is prepared to meet with “anybody” ahead of his meeting with the US President.
It remains to be seen whether Mamdani extending an olive branch to Trump and Wall Street will ease tensions or only deepen them.
