Sky News Washington Correspondent Annelise Neilsen discusses how several US news outlets have rejected a new Pentagon press access policy.
“This is such a next level … I think essentially the really bad part was that you can’t solicit any information that’s not verified to be released, and that’s really quite extraordinary because what does that even mean?” Ms Neilsen told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“Americans have the right to know, the world has the right to know what the policy decisions are that are being made there.
“This is Hegseth kind of fronting up, and this is the first time we’ve really seen all the press push back.”
