This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt subcompact crossover electric vehicle.
The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt has a 65-kWh battery with 422 km/262 miles of range, 210 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque. This is a FWD model.
In Canada, it qualifies for the Federal EV rebate of $5,000 bringing your costs down.
The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt LT model starts at $43,430 and the RS $46,030 (Pricing includes, freight, PDI and fees.
In the US, the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt LT is $28,995 and the RS $32,995 (MSRP).
The v offers practicality, versatility, comfort and plenty of technology. It gets a newly designed open centre console giving you plenty of space with large cupholders to accommodate your larger drinks and water bottles. The new column shifter allows for more space between the front seats and the dashboard has a mix of physical controls ensuring that most frequently used features like climate control or audio volume are immediately accessible. The 11” driver display and 11.3” touchscreen with Google built-in are standard as well as cloth upholstery, available leatherette and the RS model has leatherette with red stitching.
This EV has an 11.5 kW onboard charger. With a Level 2 charger, it goes from 10%-100% in about 7 hours. At a DC fast charger with speeds up to 150 kW, the Bolt will charge from 10%-80% in 25 minutes and it is recommended to charge the Bolt to 100%. It is equipped with the North American Charging standard port and comes with a dual level charge cord. Available CCS1 DC Adapter and vehicle to home big directional capability.
