The hearing also examines an arrangement under which an ECAJ staff member worked in the Special Envoy’s office. Segal says the arrangement was intended to support her education-focused plan to combat antisemitism and stresses that she no longer holds an active decision-making role within the organisation.
The questioning turns particularly pointed when Shoebridge raises official records that, as of January 2026, listed Segal as a director of the ECAJ Harm Prevention Fund. Segal says she had resigned from her active ECAJ roles and would investigate why the registry had not been updated.
